This is an excellent way to identify these major stars and the constellations they’re associated with.

You can notice a circular pattern of bright stars around tonight’s moon. In the Northern Hemisphere, we call these stars the Winter Circle.

I am about ready to look for property far away from town and move, so I have less light pollution! The best thing about living aboard a boat was that we were often in remote places and the stars were amazing!

  The stars here are pretty good since I’m fairly far away from big cities so we can actually see the Milky Way reasonably well, but I’m sure that’s nothing compared to being at sea!
