The best thing about living on a boat was that we could get away from civilization – and light pollution – and REALLY see the sky … hopefully, the clouds and residual light allow me to see this!

I know the feeling. Right here by the lake we often have early morning fog. Getting up before dawn isn’t something I love, either. LOL.

I did, too, then moved to Alaska for a year … my solar clock has sort of been off since then.

I had a big enough problem with seasonal affective disorder (SAD) in Utah. Can’t even imagine Alaska.

I have never been able to understand if summer, with too much sun OR winter, without enough was worse.

So true. There are too few areas where there are four, reasonable seasons and of course they’re usually over-populated and polluted.

True! Currently, we live in FL, and think we’re having a cold wave when it gets down to 40 for a low … in Alaska, I experienced 60 BELOW! The Northern Lights were amazing, though.
